Camp Scherman Weekend Campouts are Better than Ever!
At Camp Scherman, girls and adults can disconnect from their electronics and daily routines to experience new and memorable adventures. The wide array of themed weekend camp experiences will fit your interests and schedules. Tie your laces and get your adventure pack and prepare for adventurous fun!
What are Some of the Fun Activities at Camp?
Weekends at Camp Scherman typically include morning flag ceremony, day and night hikes, canoeing, archery, gardening, fun crafts, an indoor or outdoor campfire, and camp songs, games, making new friends, star gazing and time to reflect on the weekend during Scout’s Own. Camp activities vary according to time of year and weather. You’ll enjoy delicious home-style meals in one of our dining halls.
Camp Schedule: Check in is Friday from 5-7 p.m. Program will begin promptly on Friday at 8 p.m. and on Saturday at 8 a.m. Checkout is Sunday at 11 a.m.
Troop Weekend Camps
Enjoy a three-day themed Weekend Campout especially planned for Troops (Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors), Service Units or Independent Girl Scouts. These campouts are open to any Girl Scout from any Girl Scout Council. Choose from a Mountain Cabin or a Ranch House Cabin experience. Adult to Girl safety-wise ratios must be maintained.

Start the fall off right with a weekend at camp. Now that summer is over, embrace fall adventures with canoeing on the lake, aiming for the bulls-eye at the archery range, walking on the trails and watching the leaves change. Fall is full of surprises at camp, so pack your bags and come join us! |

Pom poms, glue, and sequins…Oh my! Love arts and crafts and creating a masterpiece? We have the perfect weekend for you! Come to Camp Scherman to make your own creations or have fun with tie-dye, leather crafts and beading creations. But don’t get too comfortable inside, enjoy a ton of outdoor activities too like canoeing, archery, fun hikes around camp and even a skit at campfire! |

Never been camping before? Want to brush up on your camping skills? This is the weekend adventure for you! Practice setting up a tent, lashing, knot tying and fire building ALONG with all the other amazing outdoor experiences camp has to offer, including S’mores. *Please be sure to sign up for your Troop Level. |

This is a special weekend for the older Girl Scouts when you kick off the fall season as you enjoy canoeing on the lake, aiming for the bulls-eye at the archery range, walking on the trails and watching the leaves change. Fall is full of surprises at camp, so pack your bags and come join us! |

Come join us for a weekend of archery and more archery. Take aim and hit your target, shoot for distance and improve your form. Enjoy paddling across the lake and hiking to and fro but the really great excitement will be with the bow and arrow…won’t you join us? |

Experience a whole new side of winter. Bundle up and enjoy the crisp mountain air at camp. Chill out in a canoe, take aim at our snowflake archery targets, then come inside to warm your hands with a cup of Scherman Cocoa. Practice your skit to perform by the campfire. Let the beauty of a star-studded night sky take your breath away. Bring your hats and mittens and who knows…maybe you’ll catch a snowflake on your tongue. |

Do you like to sing? Do you like to be in the spotlight? Join us for a weekend of endless singing, skits and our special Saturday night S’MORES!!! In addition to singing songs while walking through camp, you can paddle your way across the lake, take aim at archery, and learn a variety of skits and take home your very own skit book! |
Rockets, Water and Rainbows |
Like to experiment? Put on your lab coats and goggles and get ready for some fun! Explore the wonders of science and the outdoors with projects like launching a rocket, creating a rainbow in a jar or making a volcano erupt. Join us on Friday night for a rockin’ dance party that will make your hair stand on end. We’ll provide the goggles, you bring your lab coat…be creative! |

It’s a special weekend just for Brownies to experience camp the way only a Brownie can! Paddle around the lake, take aim at archery, create fun arts and crafts, and gather round the campfire at the end of a full day of adventure that’s perfect for Brownies. |

Come play at camp during the spectacular spring season. Canoe, hike, shoot an arrow and stargaze. We’ve got a special spring craft for you. Join us on a night hike…if you’re lucky you might spot a shooting star. This is the best time of year to see all sorts of critters and creatures including deer, squirrels and jack rabbits. Experience the fun of Camp Scherman all weekend long. |

Camp Scherman gets greener every year in our one acre organic vegetable and flower garden. Put on a pair of gardening gloves and help us sow the seeds for pumpkins, potatoes, squash, zucchini and more! Learn about greenhouses, seeds, bees and plants that attract Scherman’s butterflies. There’s lots more fun in store with loads of traditional camp activities all weekend long. Come back in the summer to pick and taste what you helped create. |

Plan to enjoy a very special weekend with girls who are moving to the next level. Share a magical camp ceremony that signifies the accomplishments and the adventures that lie ahead for each girl. You’ll be part of the planning and decorating for the ceremony as well as taking some time to participate in camp activities. No ceremony at camp would be complete without a cake just for you! Join us for your next step in Girl Scouts. |

Grab your troop and enjoy all the S’mores you can eat in an action-packed weekend. Launch your canoe on the lake and hit a bulls-eye at archery. Discover your night vision on a night hike and see if you can spot the Big Dipper or a jackrabbit in search of a late night snack! Turn the beat around as you rock the night away at our fun-filled dance party. |

Grab your sunscreen and your swim suit for a weekend of water fun! Play in the pool, paddle across the lake, swamp (flip) your canoe and learn how to get back inside and paddle onto your next adventure. Wear your Hawaiian shirt and join us as the sun sets for a night swim party. We’ve got lots of water and surprises in store for you! |

Lace up your boots, fill up your water bottle and join us for a weekend of hikes and trails. Camp Scherman has many trails for you to trek across. Why take the road when you can take a winding trail? While you are off trekking through camp you will be able to participate in traditional camp activities. |

Get your troop and your gear for a weekend of GAM training and practice. You will have access to the lakes for your boating skills, the pool for the relays and not to mention the rest of camp so that you all can spread out and take care of business! May comes up fast even in September!! |

Are playing games your thing? Do you like to run, dodge, and capture the other teams flag? Join us for a weekend of games; learn new games and revisit some great games from the past, all while enjoying time on the lake canoeing and taking aim at archery. Ready?... Tag you're it! |
Parent / Daughter and Family Weekend Camps
Create lifelong memories at a three-day Weekend Campout for daughters, Moms, Dads, families, troops with their moms (Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors) or Independent Girl Scouts. Each weekend is catered to a certain combination of guests – so please note the specifications in each description. A Mother or other adult female (aunt, grandmother, guardian, sister or special friend/relative) over age 21 must accompany each girl camper. Weekend accommodations include our Mountain Cabins or Ranch House Cabins.

Leave your electronics behind and reconnect with one another. Camp Scherman is the perfect place to have fun and strengthen the bond with the special girl in your life. Grab your flashlight for a late night hike under a canopy of stars, race across the lake in a canoe. Take aim to hit a bull’s eye, learn some new camp songs and bring your ideas for a skit to share at campfire. We always have something fun planned for Saturday night. Kick back and let our cooks and counselors take care of you while you create memories you’ll share for a lifetime.

- S'mores and More: Enjoy all the S’mores you can eat in an action-packed weekend.
- Winter Play: Enjoy the beauty of winter at camp together.
- Brownie and Daisy Weekend: Special times just for Brownies and Daisy Mom and daughters.
- Garden Fun: Spend quality time together while planting new seeds in our garden. Each seed is a new memory planted for life.
- Tea Party: Bring your fancy dress up clothes and hats for afternoon tea.
- Boo Bash: Join us for a fun filled Halloween weekend, costumes are welcome.

Leave your troop behind and have one-on one-fun with your daughter. Lace up some lanyards or your hiking boots in a weekend full of fun outdoor activities, crisp air and fun starlit nights. Enjoy the peaceful moments canoeing on the lake and buddy up at archery. Practice your disco moves at our dining hall dance party. We do the cooking and the planning so you don’t have to. We’ve also got some special surprises in store for you! |

Pack your car and head up to the mountains for a special weekend just for dads, “special guys” and daughters! Aim your arrow at the balloons on the archery range… how many can you pop? Race across the lake in a canoe, then team up for even more fun—just the two of you together! Girls -- plan a silly skit with your guy…you’ll be amazed at what you can get him to do!
This three-day Weekend Campout is open to Fathers and their daughters, Troops with their guys, or Independent Girl Scouts of all grade levels. A Father or other adult male (uncle, grandfather, guardian, brother or special friend/relative) over age 21 must accompany each girl camper. Shared accommodations in our Mountain Cabins are used by Dads and other adult males. Girls will sleep together indoors, slumber-party style, on mattresses in our Snoqualmie or Whispering Winds Shelters, supervised by our female camp staff. |

Dads, come spend a weekend with your best girl! You’ll test your skills on the archery range, paddle on the lake, and even build a special project, all while creating lifelong memories together. Join us for a weekend you’ll never forget. |

Come out and enjoy a unique and relaxing weekend camp experience with family and friends taking in all of the beauty of camp and its surroundings. Explore wide-open spaces and staff-planned nature and camp activities for all ages, including swimming, hiking, crafts, games, campfires, archery, and canoeing. Be sure to visit our garden – something tasty should be ready for picking!
Provide your own tent, RV or camper, or stay in one of our comfortable rustic cabins. Sign up for our weekend meal plan that includes seven meals prepared in our own kitchen, or bring a propane stove to prepare your own meals. Each sleeping/camping area will have shared shelters, picnic tables and restrooms.
We will do our best to place you near one other family or group. Due to the popularity of family camp, we suggest early registration. |
